Sunderland release starters on a free

Sunderland announced defenders John O'Shea, Joleon Lescott, midfielders Jan Kirchhoff, Sebastian Larsson, Steven Pienaar, Will Buckley and forward Victor Anichebe have been released following the expiration of their contracts.
